About the Product
Born from a real problem in the market.
Search-in-a-Box was created by Via Appia to address the difficulty of quickly deploying advanced search, analysis, and information organization solutions without relying on long infrastructure projects, highly specialized teams, or steep learning curves.
The idea came from practical experience with several Brazilian intelligence agencies. When acquiring contextual search tools and ontologies, these agencies faced challenges beyond the software itself: hardware, configuration, high staff turnover, and limited technical resources.
