CHRONUSWEB for investigation

Although CHRONUS has a very wide application, it is important to emphasize first hand the usefulness of the same in the sectors of intelligence and investigation. Every investigative process accumulates a large number of physical and virtual documents and information. Among the virtual ones, photos, reports, texts of diverse publishers, PDF, spreadsheets, videos, audio files, among countless others. Documents generated on paper or seized for analysis, we have intelligence reports, accounting books or several other document format. CHRONUSWEB® allows all documents and information to be cataloged in a more or less complex way, according to the demand, allowing it soon after it is found quickly and securely. The assigned levels of secrecy are flexible and integrate with the rules already existing in the client. With a hybrid system, dealing with physical and virtual documents, CHRONUS allows you to cross the information contained in both worlds in a simple and powerful way. Image-shaped documents are automatically transformed into text and indexed for content search. There is also a module for transcription of audio in text, which allows the search for audio documents containing specific texts. It is provided as a standalone software license or integrated with the Search-in-a-box intelligence appliance.

Smart Development

CHRONUSWEB® works with both open source (PostgreSQL, MySQL) and commercial databases (MS SQL Server, Oracle, and Sybase) and allows you to create multiple instances and types of Virtual Libraries, containing links to content and direct access to Videos, audios and various types of files, including DOC, DOCX, XLS, XLSX, TXT and PPT.

Fully Integration

CHRONUSWEB®, to ensure compatibility with conventional systems used around the world, brings full compatibility with the MARC 21 format, allowing users to create their own data entry worksheets in an easy and revolutionary way. The System has in its database all the MARC fields specified by the Library of Congress for the user to use in the creation of their cataloging worksheets. In this way, the generated worksheet is then made available to the cataloging user with the best MARC interface in Latin America, at least. The created Library or Virtual Collection can be imported and exported in Dublin Core format. CHRONUSWEB® is already pre-arranged and ensures compatibility with some content managers such as Microsoft Office SharePoint Server 2007, DSPACE (free software) and Ágiles. The standard search for CHRONUSWEB® already brings the greatest number of features known for physical and virtual document management software, but to provide more advanced search and corporate integration capabilities, it allows integration with enterprise search software such as Watson Explorer, FAST Search, MS Search Server, MOSS 2007, Google, among other market softwares.

 Multilingual Interface

It can be run in Portuguese, English or Spanish allowing users of different nationalities to have the chance to work as system maintainers or researchers and browsers of the end user modules. Such functionality also allows the expansion of the customer base to countries that speak these languages, such as Latin American, North American and European countries, allowing the user community to exchange experiences and even cataloging or content information with such countries.
